Interested in volunteering? We know we have friends with incredible talent, and we would love to invite you to be a part of our team. Below are descriptions for some specific volunteer positions we would love you to consider. Or perhaps you have another skill you can bring to the table? Please let us know!
Specific Talent Needed:
Fundraising - Are you great at “the ask”? Do you have the talent for acquiring in-kind donations from companies? Social Media Campaigns? We would love your expertise in not only helping us get started but to keep us going well into the future.
Grant writer - As we continue to fundraise for both our “The Trail Begins Here” campaign and continued monthly support, we would love someone who has experience applying for nonprofit grants.
Photography - We would love to have some pictures taken for the website here, at our Open Barn event, and then from time to time as updates.
Videography/Media - Great video! We need someone who can capture the moments and create short, attention grabbing videos. This person should also be able to update our social media on a regular basis. Great for a college student!
Grounds Crew - We want to keep Eloheh a sanctuary space! The grounds crew would help a couple times of year with leaves, tree care, and other landscaping needs.
Horse Care - on a day-to-day basis, the horses are cared for by the owner/founder. However, we will need volunteers to care for the horses when we are away. There will also be opportunities for horse handlers once therapeutic riding begins in 2026. These volunteers need to have previous horse care experience. There will be opportunities in the future for beginners who want to be trained in this space.
Session Assistant/Side walker - when we move into riding, we will need volunteers who could be an extra set of hands and eyes during sessions with clients. We will train you so no experience necessary but must be in good physical health.

Volunteer Handbook
As part of volunteer training, please read through the volunteer handbook linked below. This will prepare you for what to expect, how to handle emergencies, guidelines for working at Eloheh Equine, and other important educational information about working with horses.
Volunteer Application
Complete the volunteer application by clicking on the form to the right. Make sure to sign the liability waiver at the end and “click to sign” at the bottom to complete the application.
All volunteers 18 and over will need to complete a background check. As soon as you submit your application, you will receive an email with the background check link. The background check takes 2-3 business days, and the results will be sent directly to us at Eloheh Equine. Once we have received and reviewed your background check, we will notify you via email that you have been accepted to volunteer with us.
